I just realized that I haven't posted any art since Christmas!  That's weird because I've been drawing quite a bit.  Here's what you've been missing out on!

A New Approach

Hey throngs of disenchanged sivARTblog fans! I'm back after 3 months of inactivity. Since I last posted, my family and I have moved from Louisiana to Texas and are in the process of purchasing and moving into our new home. I'll probably be too busy to post very often for a while, but it should be more often.

In the meantime, I've come across an illustrator online that I've seen before and I LOVE his illustrative style. I don't know his real name, but you can see his deviantART page here. In an attempt to branch out as an illustrator, i've spent what drawing time I have had lately trying to adopt his style. I practiced by redrawing some of his illustrations, but all of the ones I'm posting here are my own creations. Below are some of the results of the experiment. Let me know what you think!

Weird Sketch Wednesday

I haven't posted in a while, which is bad. I have been saving up weird sketches in my posting absence though, which is good. Here's are a few random sketches with a Superman and Supergirl thrown in there for fun. And yes, that is a robot doing The Robot. Hope you enjoy.
