It's Super Soldier vs Strong Arm! What's more invulnerable, Cap's Shield or Fisto's Fist?

Man, I love Fisto. He was actually my favorite He-Man character and Fisto's fist meeting Cap's shield for the first time would be a great full page panel in the comic book. This would probably be the closest fight so far, but I think Cap would come out on top, just because the guy survived a nuclear explosion and frozen hibernation for 60 years and he can probably deal with a one-handed Grizzly Adams lookalike.
ReplyDeleteFisto charges Cap, smashing his giant hand into Cap's shield. The vibrations shatters Fisto's metal gauntlet, revealing a tiny, miniature hand. Fisto cries, runs away embarrassed.

ReplyDeleteThe Runthrough: Both warriors charge and what follows is an amazing display of offensive attacks and defensive evasions. Fisto's fist keeps glancing off of Cap's shield keeping the Avenger out of harm's reach. The former Man-at-Arms may have years of fighting experience but he can't keep up with Cap's speed and certainly can't get that huge fist past his shield. At some point Cap gets behind Fisto and lays him out with a shield swipe to the skull. Good try, Fisto.
