This battle will come down to tooth and nail! It's the Avenger's part-time berserker mutant vs Eternia's Lord of all Beasts! Wolverine's claws can cut through anything, but has he controlled his inner beast enough to fight Beast-Man's telepathic compulsions? The answer to that question could decide the battle!

Wolverine is the best there is at what he does, and what he does ain't nice! The only way Beast-Man might win is if he caught Wolvie by surprise in mid-berserker rage. That's a big IF with Wolverine's sense of smell.
ReplyDeleteHmm. If Beast Man can control all beasts, couldn't he theoretically control Wolverine? OK, let's just say he CAN'T do that. If they were fighting on Eternia, B-Man could control all those giant dragon-type creatures on Eternia to attack Wolvie. Even if these creatures destroy Old Man Logan, his healing factor is gonna heal his wounds every time.
ReplyDeleteIt's only a matter of time before Beasters runs out of monsters. Wolverine slices up Fur Brain and makes a orange throw rug out of him. Wolvie dines on Roast Beast.
First off, I know Wolverine is usually an X-Man, but if you've read any comics released in the past 10 years or so, you know that he also splits time on the Avengers.
ReplyDeleteSecondly, there's no way BeastMan wins this one, but I think it would be closer than most people think.
The Runthrough: BeastMan starts the fight keeping Wolverine at bay with his whip, then sending a horde of Shadow Beasts at the diminutive mutant. Sure Wolverine can fight through the throng of monsters but the more he fights the more he loses himself to the beast within. Once he goes deep into his berzerker rage, Skeletor's minion attacks him mentally taking over his will. Just as Wolverine is about to obediently decapitate himself with his own claws, his heroic nature wins out and he breaks BeastMan's mind control. After that...well...no one knows exactly WHAT happened to BeastMan. All they found was orange fur and blood. A LOT of blood. If there's one thing Wolverine can't stand it's people jacking around with his brain. Avengers win another one.
